Jenny Cameron (above) provides a free Group Therapeutic Touch (TT) session fortnightly on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm AEST or AEDT. For upcoming dates check TTAA Facebook group posts, Extraordinary Living Monthly Newsletter or Facebook group
You are welcome, and invite clients, friends and family, hey, anyone who you think may benefit or be interested in Therapeutic Touch to Jenny Cameron’s Group Distance Healing on a Wednesday from 7.30-8.00pm AEST or AEDT (depending on the time of year).
Please text Jenny prior to this date and time to indicate your desire to participate in this event on 0408 973 918.
Jenny will text participants at 7.20pm on that evening, asking if they are still intending to receive TT for this session and can they respond with a thumbs up or a yes.
She asks that participants then, to get settled, turn the TV off, go into a quiet, comfortable space where they won’t be interrupted for 30 minutes.
At 7.30pm she will send TT consistently for 30 minutes. Yep, 30 minutes constantly!
After the session Jenny will often send participants a photo or a comment relating to the session. She welcomes comments, observations and questions from participants.
The distance TT recipients gain many different benefits from the group sessions. Examples are – calmness, feeling more refreshed, more desire to care for themselves and take self care actions, reduction of pain levels.
These events are held fortnightly on a Wednesday night at 7.30pm. Currently there may be up to 50 recipients per session.
Now for some background information on Jenny and how the Distance Healing Group began. Jenny Cameron has been a nurse for 50 years mostly in ICU and oncology. Previously she also was a Nurse Educator. Currently Jenny works in the Aged Care setting and uses massage and Therapeutic Touch (TT) for pain and healing.
She found that distance TT became part of her work about 15 years ago when she was living quite a distance from several clients in need.
About 18 months ago she had a few clients in hospital and they rang and asked Jenny to do some distance TT. She started daily distance sessions for them.
When sharing this with other clients, they asked, “Is there anyway we can join in on this?” And so the Group Distance Healing Sessions began.
In the past Jenny often thought what could I do for the world. She has found her way to contribute on a larger scale. “This is some way I can send healing out, into a greater space”, she commented.
I am sure all of the TT community in Australia thank you, Jenny for your generosity.
